Plum Porridge w/ Maple Syrup

Plum Porridge w/ Maple Syrup

I find it hard to imagine that some people aren’t ‘breakfast people’; how could anyone deny themselves the opportunity for a meal?! And breakfast of all meals; with offerings of… fruit, toast, eggs, PANCAKES!! And the humble bowl of porridge!! I know I have posted a porridge recipe before but I truly love the goodness, yumminess and simplicity of the nutritious and convenient oat. Wonderful friends who stayed recently left us with a box of oats and the most perfect looking plum; so there was nothing else for it!! Sweet plum porridge with maple syrup. Vegan, delicious and super quick!! Thanks J&T!!

my mom has never been a “breakfast person.” I, however, completely agree with your take on the matter! haha. I basically LIVE for a delicious breakfast every morning. It’s the best meal of the day, and nothing’s better than a big warm bowl of oats :)
I’ve been dying to try plum oatmeal, too – they’re on sale this week so you’d best believe they’ll be topping my oatmeal as soon as I make it to the store! Great photo and recipe, and beautiful blog. Glad I found it!

What a fun photo! I completely agree with your stance on breakfast – it’s a must! Not only am I very crabby and a drag to be around if I don’t eat breakfast, I love the taste of granolas, oatmeal, eggs, etc.
